Computerization of Ballet School
I have recently modified our Course Administration System (CAS) for use by Ballet Schools.
Although there are many similarity between normal CAS and Ballet School CAS, there are a number of business issues that make normal CAS not 100% suitable for Ballet Schools of Hong Kong.
-
Ballet Schools usually accept trial students who are invited to join ballet class for one lesson
free of charge to test their suitability for ballet lessons.
-
Fee for "2 lessons per week" is not two times of the fee for "1 lesson per week".
-
Students may change enrolment pattern from "1 lesson per week" to "2 lessons per week" near the examination period.
-
Ballet classes do not have a fixed number of lessons for each grade of students.
Students can enroll any time.
-
Ballet Schools may conduct short term classes which have a fixed number of lessons.
This CAS is a web-based system. In other words, adminstrator and headmaster can log in the system from a browser at school or at home to manage or oversee their business any time via internet.
